Final task

We have been discussing about beauty standards for two weeks. You have had the chance of reading texts, watching videos and sharing your ideas about beauty with other people. Now it is time for you to produce and post your opinion on beauty standards using flickr and voice thread.Follow the steps bellow:
Step 1- Think about what you would like to say, if necessary write it down on a piece of paper.

Step 2- Upload pictures that represent your opinion.For you to do this, you need to have a flickr account.

Task 2 Now that you know how to use flickr, access
and follow the steps, upload photos, you would like to use in order to express your opinion on beauty standards and add them to your photostream.

Task 3. Ok, now you are ready to record your digital opinion on beauty using the pictures you've uploaded to your Flickr photostream. Watch the tutorial bellow carefully.

What is your opinion ?

The Commission of Science and Technology of Brazilian Senate has just approved a project that forbids models who have a bodymass index bellow 18 to take part in advertisings and fashion shows.Doctors, models and fashion stylists disagree with this project, according to them, it would be more efficient to do medical follow up on the models health than to forbid them to work. Some doctors claim that having a low BMI does not necessarily mean that the person is unhealthy. There are some models like Gisele Bundchen whose BMI is lower than 18 and are in perfect health condition.
